Coronavirus

COVID-19 is a new strain of coronavirus.
The first cases showed up in Wuhan, China,
end of Dec 2019,
resembling acute pneumonia.
Its genome sequence was identified as a novel coronavirus.
The virus is believed to come from animals,
as a connection was identified between the first cases
and the wildlife market in Wuhan.
From there,
the virus spread to other areas,
reaching China’s neighbors
and other countries through travelers coming from China.
The most common coronavirus symptoms
are fever, headache, coughing and difficulty breathing.
Some coronavirus cases develop pneumonia
and other severe complications,
especially those with compromised immune systems,
older people and people with chronic conditions.
The virus is often transmitted
through contact with patients
or droplets from coughing and sneezing.
To prevent coronavirus infection,
wash your hands with soap and water regularly,
use a tissue when you cough or sneeze,
cook meat and eggs well,
and avoid contact with anyone
showing respiratory illness symptoms, like coughing and sneezing.
If you are traveling to the kingdom,
you’ll be asked to sign the health declaration form
before arriving at the airport and hand it to passport control.
Travelers who have been to China
in the past two weeks
must declare that.
In addition, travelers from China will be tested,
and suspected cases will be isolated
and provided with everything they require,
such as accommodation, etc.
Stay healthy and live well.
